Founded in 1983, ADAMS serves families across 10+ Northern Virginia communities from a 25,000 sq ft Sterling campus (mosque for 700+, multipurpose hall and gym) plus campuses in Ashburn, Chantilly and Leesburg. It hosts community Eid ul-Fitr and Eid ul-Adha festivals with vendor booths on its Sterling grounds.

Virginia's oldest gurdwara, established in 1978 at 7250 Ox Road; the present Gurdwara Sahib was inaugurated on Baisakhi day 1989. It runs regular diwans, langar and Akhand Paths, and its calendar lists Baisakhi, Prakash Gurpurab (11–13 September 2026) and visiting kirtan programs.

Its annual Teej festival, held in a large hall in Manassas or Haymarket, is described as the largest of its kind among American Nepali communities.
