Festival of India (Richmond)

About

A two-day celebration of Indian heritage organized by the Hindu Center of Virginia since 1981, drawing more than 20,000 visitors in recent years. The program features classical and Bollywood/bhangra stage performances, regional Indian cuisine from local restaurants, craft and clothing vendors, henna and face painting, and a talent competition; the 2026 theme is 'Festivals of India'. The 2026 edition runs 12–13 September 2026 (11am–8:30pm Saturday, 11am–8pm Sunday) and is free to attend.
